Psychotherapy & Counselling
When you listen generously to people they can hear the truth in themselves, often for the first time.

Individual Counselling
Some people know what they would like to work on in individual therapy. However, for some of us, we know something is wrong but we cannot name it. Or we know what is troubling us but find it awkward to talk to someone about it. We are afraid of being judged. What will happen if we continue to ignore what is troubling us?
My individual counselling and psychotherapy approach is that I work together with you to:
- discover the sources of your problems
- make sense of what you are going through
- find new perspective to your situation
- make better choices
- learn new and effective coping styles
You leave sessions with new insights, tools and resources for everyday use.
How the sessions are carried out:
- I see clients for both short term and long-term work.
- The sessions are either in person, via video calls or both.
- In general, short term work therapy can last for 3-12 sessions (per session is 50 minutes). This number of sessions may not apply to all clients as everyone has unique stories, with their own different ways of healing.
- During the sessions I will encourage you to share what is going on in your life. I am active in the sessions - I ask questions to better understand what is happening. I help clarify what you are going through.
- Throughout therapy I check with you to see if you are getting what you want from therapy, and address any worries you may have.
I also offer individual and couples online counselling and psychotherapy for adults experiencing anxiety, depression and relationship stressors. Find out more about how online counseling works:
Couples Counselling
People come to couples counselling for different reasons. The communication between the couple have become negative, or one partner has had an affair. The couple may seem to have become more like roommates than a married couple, or they both do not know how to resolve their differences. Disappointment, anger and fear begin to replace initial hope.
During couples’ therapy, I work with both partners:
- to be aware on how they are interacting with one another
- on how to de-escalate arguments and communicate more effectively
- on re-building relationship and focusing on its strengths
- on how to cope with conflicts and manage major life events
